Connect with Your Inner Self Through IFS Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is a compassionate, evidence based approach that helps you explore different "parts" of yourself - each with it's own voice, role, and perspective.  Often shaped by past experiences these parts can hold pain, fear, or protective roles that influence your thoughts and behaviours. IFS guides you toward healing by fostering a deeper connection with your core Self - calm, curious, and confident - so you can bring harmony to your internal world. I use IFS with clients in Oakville to foster self-compassion and balance.

People who benefit most are:

  • Individuals who have been through something hard that still lingers - IFS provides a non-invasive path for people to connected with wounded parts of themselves that hold pain

  • People with harsh inner critics - IFS helps soften self-judgement and brings compassion and curiosity to parts that say we are not good enough

  • Pulled in different directions - IFS helps makes sense of inner conflicts and brings clarity

  • On a path of personal growth - people can use IFS to connect more deeply with themselves

  • Supporters of other people - if you are a therapist, coach, caregiver or someone who shows up a lot for others, IFS can help you care for your inner world
